Black British Business rising star award winner Abiola Bello, author of the Emily Knight book series, has released her second romance novel just in time for the festive season.
Only for the Holidays, a YA romance novel about city girl Tia and country boy Quincy who meet when Tia reluctantly takes a trip to the countryside after a break from her boyfriend.
In the fashion of enemies to lovers arc, the pair soon realise that they both have something to gain from feigning a relationship.
But will their romance last only for the holidays or is this the beginning of something that transcends their differences?
On the writing process, Abiola said:
‘I had the most fun writing Only for the Holidays. It was probably the funniest time I had writing. I think, because I had already written Love in Winter Wonderland. I’d already done the whole Christmas black love dual narrative situation, so I feel I got into the stride of it quite quickly.’
